The name GORG-O-MISH, drawn from Farsi slang for “twilight,” reflects our club’s mystery - a place where everyone can lose or even find themselves.

Founded in the 1940s as one of Granville’s first dance studios, GORG-O-MISH became an iconic after-hours club in 2003. Since then, we’ve stayed true to our vision: supporting music, art, expression, challenging norms, and welcoming all communities in a safe, humble enviroment.

Our architect, a veteran of club scenes worldwide since age 13, brought Vancouver the honeycomb sound system and assembled a team of world-class artists.

Our GORG-O-MISH family—passionate, grown-up club kids dedicated to dance music culture—upholds values of inclusivity, good vibes, and a strict zero-tolerance policy.
